The file upload control in the Short form states:

Drop files here to upload or [Select file]

The file upload control in the Full form states:

Drop file here to upload or [Select file]

• Both controls allow only a single file to be selected at a time using the [Select File] button.
• The short form will upload multi-selected files when dragged to the control.
• The full form will upload only the first of multi-selected files when 2 files are dragged to the control.

Behavior between these controls should be consistent and ideally would universally allow multi-selection of files.
