A client recently reached out and I like their idea. When an employee clicks the link in the email to complete a corrective action, the screen that opens has one option, to attach a file. Perhaps a file is not needed to be attached but a comment made, such as completed. Or to just say the area has been swept as requested or something similar. This would be more beneficial and give a quick reply that the requested action would be completed.
