I would like to suggest adding the employee's work email as a field option when creating custom reports in training track. This would allow for the ability to run the training matrix including the employee's email to send a communication to a group of employees who completed a particular training. For example, we made an internal process change regarding forklifts and I want to notify only employees who completed forklift training of the change but without this field I need to run a training matrix and employee report and merge the data manually.
